International Immuno-Oncology Summer School - general informaction

International Immuno-Oncology Summer School, organized within the framework of STREAM project, will be held on 27-28 June 2016 in Warsaw. The aim of the two-day meeting is establishing a platform for dialogue of world experts in immuno-oncology field with young researchers from European countries, exchange of experience of consortium members within the STREAM project, and promotion of issues related to immuno-oncology in the environment of European researchers.

The first day of the meeting will be devoted to presentations of projects carried out by young scientists from European research centers.

On the second day presentations will be delivered by outstanding researchers from the leading European and American research institutes:

  • Yupo Ma (Stony Brook University, New York, USA)
  • Andreas Hadjinicolaou (University of Oxford, UK)
  • Karl-Johan Malmberg (Oslo University Hospital, Norway)
  • Marcin Okroj Medical (University of Gdansk, Poland)
  • Dinis Calado (The Francis Crick Institute, London, UK)
  • Dimitar Efremov (International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Trieste, Italy)
  • Jakub Gołąb (Medical University of Warsaw, Poland)

Participants invited to give the oral presentation will be selected from among the candidates on the basis of CV and short description of the project, with at least 12 participants (60%) selected from the EU Member States located in Central and Eastern Europe or Eastern Europe.

Expenses related to accommodation, catering and promotional materials will be covered by the organizers (Medical University of Warsaw) from the STREAM project. Travelling costs are not reimbursed.
